Good thought but unfortunately they are not active in any local threads. I've searched all of their 100+ postings and the most recent one was back in oct, they have been on the forums as recently as saturday. I cant even tell if they have any friends on here I could bother to get any help/info from.

 

Just wait a while and see if they post up a wishlist. If not, just get them something you think he/she would like. If he/she doesn’t like it, doesn’t matter because you tried based on what little info you had to work with.

Or you could always send a gift card. Lol.

 

i just took a 5sec look at your victim and see that they post pics of their truck in a certain color based thread, like 3d printed things and other nic naks, you have their location check out the local/regional thread for them and see if there is anything being made/sold there that you can get to help them get engaged more, if you go with clothes guess a little large on the size (I'd say a safe bet is L or XL) if they don't have anything posted.

Thats the plan for now. I just keep checking to see if they post anything new I can go off of.

Seen that also and have been trying to figure something out but its hard to tell what they have already purchased or not. I'll def get something figured out and get it to them by christmas. They have never posted in their local thread(that I can find). I do agree with the shirt size though, atleast from the one pic I've seen of them.

Exactly. For example the AZ thread has made AZ TW Keychains(w/ and w/o bottle openers) maybe it would encourage them to post in their local thread more.

Woots definitely not what is used to be since being purchased by Amazon. Definitely alot of random things, but it generally just random things they pull from the amazon website.

I remember my first BOC was a bunch of yankee calendar whiteboards, woot lights and a broken Ipod. (and a few others I cant remember) Fixed the ipod which looked brand new in by itself was a $200 value.

Last BOC (after Amazon buyout) was a knock off barbee, rubber ducks, a dvd and a bath toy for children.
