Should I switch to the TRD pro grill

    Not quite the same as what u have but color matching the Bezel and blacking out the mesh part gives it a much sleeker look IMO and is pretty cheap to do. I had a pro for awhile but decided I like this look better.

    I found 2 on Amazon I'm not sure which one it is. But both reviews weren't great. But I'm sure for 30 bucks you can't expect for too much. May get a set and silicone the edges to keep the moisture out

    I don't see many modded tacomas around my area, but when I do, almost always have that pro grill. The trend moves everywhere I guess. Pro grill... Raptor lights.. Meh.

    Am I the only one who likes some of these stock grills? Sr grills look good, I like my cheese grater on my or, and the new 2020 grill looks even better. That pro grill has the nice retro/heritage look, but I think it pokes out to much.

    To each his own - I like the stock grill on my OR, but I also like chrome and hate the blacked out look - doesn't make me wrong or right. If I were you - and I'm not (but you asked for opinions) I'd - wait...never costs money to wait (on things like this). Enjoy your truck, be safe and happy Thanksgiving.

    yes the reviews indicate possible moisture issues. the edges actually look pretty well sealed, I suspect moisture is coming in through the back side. I had the same idea and applied silicon to the back side (where the wires enter the housing).
