hmm, I'll have to look into that. Yeah im pretty serious about doing the V8 swap though. Im just needing to go overseas for a year to get all my stuff paid off and that way I have an avenue to ACTUALLY get everything I need easily. But after watching a lot of 1320 videos and seeing the progress of Leroy and Ruby from Cleetus McFarland, thats really what made me actually want to do the LS and T56 swap. Leroy is just a ridiculous car all around

i know that feeling haha, i kinda wanna keep the broken ones lol. ill give it a thought on what Im gonna do with the ok ones. they are kinda useless to me if I do end up going forged internals for a turbo.

It can go both ways though. Nobody builds V6s because there's little to no aftermarket support, thus demand isn't that high. But I guess there's also the inherent problems with the V6 platform, like balancing issues that V8s and I4s don't have. Now, a horizontally opposed flat 6 like the Porsche 911 engine might be an interesting swap if you could get an transmission for it that wasn't a transaxle. the Porsche H6 is the only engine that remotely sounds and good as a V8 as well.

Meh, I would probably be happy with a fresh 3.4L with a properly tuned blower and an A340F with a Tacobox or an Atlas 4 spd. Or maybe one of those Ford V6 diesels, with the 10 spd trans or whatever it is. if they would fit in the engine bay of my 1st Gen. It might even be interesting to stuff one of those into a 4th Gen T4R. If I had more money than sense, I'd definitely give that a shot in conjunction with a D60 SAS.

A guy at work here did a Mercedes diesel swap on his TJ, pretty cool little swap and he said it was easy as pie. If I had unlimited money I’d do a 1st gen runner with a 1.9 TDI and a/c lol.

First thing that pops out to me is the amount of jeeps parked everywhere... Looks to be more than 2 per campsite and parked everywhere there are no parking signs

I'm guessing it's because they kissed Tammy's ass and let her address the group that she was all smiles. It probably helps that the Orlando Jeep Club is VERY organized and have a very methodical way they indoctrinate their rookies. I've seen them in action personally. It's pretty slick, and I admire them for that. Plus they picked up a trailer load of garbage off the trails which probably counts for bonus points--please note how they were very obvious about it. I just throw shit in the bed of my truck and if it doesn't make it into the camp trash, it goes in the trash bin at home when I clean the truck. I don't make a big production out of it.

Bet they didn't show her the video of the guy stuck in the mud though.

Where as we try to have a driver's meeting and it's like herding cats. Half the drivers don't show up and nobody is ever ready at the specified time. I can only speak for myself, but if we're stopped and I see trash, I pick it up. I don't stop for it, or else the whole day would be spent picking up trash and we'd never get to have any fun. I still wanna ride with Blackwater and the Trail Monkeys to see if they are as well organized as the OJC. If they are, then that's something I'd like to do with the TiTS. :D

I think what it boiled down to is she copped an attitude with us the first time we camped there and we responded in kind ever since. There were numerous complaints about her from just normal campers back then on the campground website before it went to Reserve America. I've noticed she's since lightened up. I don't think anyone got bitched at at the Fall Camp & Ride.

Honestly, I'd like to have her ride with me once time to see what we do. I bet it's nothing like she's imagining.

Got rid of my 8040 Cougar and got this, plus a total of 5 mags, a tac light w/an adjustable for POI green laser. Never had much use for a laser because they travel in a straight line while the bullet travels in an arc, but I can see how it would be handy at night (paired with the light, which is going to give away your position fairly certain).

They wouldn't take my 96 due to a hammer issue. The PO had Beretta lighten the trigger to a 2lb pull and add a skeletalized hammer. I had a few problems with it not firing hand loads because it wouldn't it the primer hard enough. So I'm having their gunsmith put the factory hammer back in and if necessary, a new main spring. I also ordered a cheap stock for my R700 VSSF .223 that is currently just a barreled action. Then I'll trade them both on the Benelli M3.

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
I had a laser on one of my pistols back in the day. I found I mainly used it for dry fire training. It gave great visual feedback. Pick a spot on the wall and try not to move the dot when pulling the trigger.

Fair point. That hadn't occurred to me. Only reason I ended up with the laser is because the light was brighter and had a dazzler mode that the other options without lasers lacked.
