    I don't have them, but my mechanic used one on my truck once to find a popping sound I had. Drove me nuts and couldn't replicate at a stand still. Attached the chassis ear in various locations and pinpointed the problem to one of the body mounts. Replaced it problem went away. Truck was 3 years old and never would've thought it would be the body mount.

    That said, I never had to use the chassis ear again. Actually, my mechanic told me I was the first person to he used it on and he said he had it for some time.

    I guess it just depends on the cost and what you're trying to find. It could be worth it, but I don't think it's something that's used often.
