I have the same lift as you but 2" up. Any issues stuffing the tire when off-roading? Hiring the fender flair? What spacer did you use? Do you have a front stance shot?

I haven't been off road yet since the spacers went on. Am curious to know if I'll have any issues lol. The brand of spacers I used are ECCPP. They're about $55 for 2 pairs. Read good reviews and the specs sounded solid to me, so I figured I'd give them a shot.

I don't have a front shot yet, but I can do that tomorrow. It's already dark out.

I don’t know much about the OK side. Except the Talimena Trail, is awesome. And the recently remodeled Lodge and Restaurant at Queen Wilhelmina state park, never stayed there but the restaurant is good eats.

You'll probably have issues with the JBA uppers on stock wheels. Until I got wheels with 3.5 BS I had to use spacers to clear them.

That's what I thought I would have to do, run spacers until I got new wheels

I thought that people were getting the cooper spares to fit without any mods?
    They're only 32.8" dia where the KM2 & 3 are over 33".

I think guys were doing that to fit 285/75/16's

When you go skinny the tires don't stick out as far and to some people (me) it doesn't look good. I out spacers on to get the sidewalls flush with the fenders and a wider stance.

I didn't have rubbing problems until I out the spacers on. And theni was only minor rubbing that was fixed with a heat gun and a little Dremel work.

So odd question, if it is difficult to get a spare of the same size as tires, can there be issues if you drive with the oem spare on and the 255/85 on the rest? I know it will look a little lop sided

Yes, it will screw up your truck. That is too big of a size difference.

Good to know. I will make sure to replace the spare when I get new tires.

    Especially critical with 4x4.
If you look at tire specs they even vary from brand and models. BFG KM2s specs show 33.3” diameter, the KM3 are 33.1”.

I hammered the guide tabs back a bit to get mine to fit up there. Wasn't difficult, just had to take a mallet to them.

It will only "screw up your truck" if you have different size tires on the rear, or if you have them on the front in 4WD like helix said. I debeaded a 35 on the trail and had to use a 33 spare to limp out- i just rotated my tires so I had 2 of the same size in the back and put the truck back in 2wd. Steering was...strange, but I wasnt winding up my driveshaft.

Just starting out, give me time
Totally agree with you. Just think about all the cars with doughnuts on that are not even close to stock tire size. As long as it's not on driveshaft or in 4 wheel drive,no problems.
