    Nope!

I constantly get asked by scrubbs with ridiculous light bars on their 'rigs' at cnd tire...

'How come you dont have a light bar?!' :duh:

my light bar paid for itself, near miss with a deer heading up to the cottage earlier this year.
the high's didn't reach as far as the bar did and saw the cunt early enough :notsure:

it's why i got the light bar in the first place (and to see what all the hype is about them) and it's proven useful. other than that, there ain't much reason to have a bar other than more light on the pavemnt and blinding the motherfucker in the oncoming lane that runs his highs at night, blinding literally everything

Oh I agree, they are great. If you drive at night, on dirt roads or back roads.

Having one for no reason just is not up my alley. I dont get shit cuz everyone else has it. Mainly the guys at cnd tire with it bolted to the hood of their CRV, or Civic have made me rethink it.

I just dont drive my rig at night. Soon enough I will graduate and want all the lights I am sure.

Do you have a winch installed? Im surprised you have room for a light behind the grill.

Honestly light bar on the roof is my biggest pet peeve. All they do is create glare.

I don't want a light bar but I want a bit more spread lighting in the front and a small bar on the bar work of the bumper would work

Bone stock lighting too. I bought brighter bulbs for my reverse lights 5 years ago, but they’re still in the package.

Aside from my reverse lights all the other OEM lights are original. I see no need to upgrade to better bulbs etc because if I need more light I have the two 12000 lumen spots

Even bellow the lower mini grille?

No winch but there is room for one. The light bar sits far forward, depending on the winch it'll fit without issues. I'll snap a photo of it in a few minutes when i get outa the office

Mine came with "Xtreme" LED bulbs in stock headlight housings, installed by the trade dealer. Otherwise my lighting is stock front and rear.

@Emanresu nvm, not much room in there. But in terms of depth, the light bar's back end is flush with the black cowling in-between the 2 grilles.

Nice work. Ya i think the solenoid(which could be relocated) but also the clutch lever would interfere. I was originally going to go that route, but kinda glad i didnt now.

what winch do you have? you could always relocate the solenoid like @tacoma16 has done with his, see the quote below.

i haven't picked a winch yet but i had been looking at the styles such as
    https://www.warn.com/165tis-heavyweight-winch-97740
where there isn't a solenoid right on top of the unit, but maybe off to the side.

Granted that winch is waay overkill and it's not one i'd get. but whatever is similar in shape/ design. but in your case, you can't do that.

I made the mistake of getting a shittybilt X2O, never again. My solenoid is relocated off to the side but I think the clutch lever would still be in the way or atleast make it harder to grab. I also have a stainless mesh in there for rad protection. Anywho, Id rather stick to my plan of mounting my pods between the bar and bumper, just need to find the right low profile mounts.
Let me know if you come across any good deals on a winch...I gotta get rid of this shit winch I got.

Have you tried to clock your winch to move the lever?
Warn isn't better, I have Zeon-10S, it costs 2x more than smitty model you have, slower, louder and free spool is much harder. Will it last? Going to find out this summer.
Unless you can find old school warn winches, new models is a big gamble. Also, anything below Zeon line is made on the same factory where smitty is.

Good call on clocking. Ya realize everything below Zeon is a step down. If I go Warn it wouldnt be VR, maybe Zeon or one of their classics if I go North American made, prefer to go with other options if I can find a decent deal.
