As others have said...take it for a decent run...get it good and hot, then check it.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
This type of thread comes up once or twice a year. It is moisture due to short drives and cold temps. I get it every so often. Wipe it out and call it good.

    Ding ding ding.

I used to live 5k from work and would take the LOOOOOOOOOONG way home to get my truck up to proper operating temp.

This doesn't happen to the 3.5s but the 4.0's this was common with short commutes.

Probably just moisture from the engine not being up to full operating temperature for long enough to burn the moisture off. If it was a gasket there would probably be similar colored oil on the dipstick.
Wipe off the cap and go for a good long highway run.
If it makes you feel better, maybe change the oil.
Engines don't like short trips. Especially during the cold winter season.

You should change your oil and get the oil up to normal operating temps to burn any moisture out of the truck.
Its from sitting. That's why older vehicles using conventional oil had the 3 months or 3,000 miles oil change interval.
How long has the oil been in the vehicle and how many miles has it been driven?
Short trips don't get the oil up to normal operating temps to burn the moisture out.

It was sitting for a few months because of my surgery. I changed the oil and took it for a long drive

I believe its indicative to moisture from sitting (3months). First take it for a drive and re-evaluate....

Umm, thats definitely not "normal", no matter what climate you live in.... Maybe there have been some reports of it, but no where near enough to be normal... what are you trying to infer? Im just curious

I had the milkshake in the tube also but only during the winter.. Gases rise in the filler tube which is cooler than the motor. Gases turn back to liquid and form in the tube.
The first time noticed it was at 60k and was ready to pull the heads. I sold the truck with 150 it was still running fine.

I may have noticed it more since I was driving from Chesapeake VA to Philly every week for work. At times there was almost a 20 deg diff in temps between the 2 locations.

Op...you're good, drive on. The long filler tube is the issue. No worries.
