I put new tires/wheels on my 08 Tacoma dbl cab 4x4 a couple months ago. I'm running Mickey Thompson MTZ....(33x12.5 R17) Today my tire pressure light came on. I've read so many different things about why and how to get it to go off...but most of it pertains to stock tires and setting them to the psi on the inside of the door or even higher. All of the sensors went back on when I had my tires put on without any problem that I know of...they all look fine. Anyone out there that's got good feedback I would greatly appreciate the help.

Does the light blink, or stay on?

If it stays on, one tire is low (check the spare). If it blinks, one of the sesors is damaged or batteries are dead.

Put whatever air pressure you want in all 5 of your tires then follow the directions about resetting the system with the button under the steering wheel.
The process of resetting with the button under the steering wheel allows the computer to recognize the new tire pressure that you choose. It has nothing to do with stock tires or the air pressure on the door. It will come on when any 1 tire loses 25% of the set psi.

Mine did the same thing until I check the spare's pressure.
