Heat shrink fletchings?

Anyone tried these heat shrink fletchings on your arrows. I know they go on good and all because I put three on my arrows last night. Just won't get a chance to shoot them till opening day. Any issues with them coming off during normal shooting or pass throughs?

 

I'm using them on my aluminium arrows. I only use my Bow for target shooting but haven't had any problems yet.

What type of rest are you using?

I have heard that they may not hold up that well with a Wisker Biskut rest over time, especially with high draw weights. I have an Onieda Screaming Eagle and I'm using a NAP 1000 rest and they work fine with that. My bow is only set to 45lb draw weight. If you're hunting with yours at about 70 lb's I dunno how they will hold up.

 

yeah using a biscuit at 65#. We will see.....

 

The worst thing is once a single vane is damaged, the whole arrow is shot untill you replace the whole thing, normally, you can re-fletch a single vane, and your good to go.

i have seen them, but never used them. they seem like a neat idea.
i always buy my arrows pre-fletched from moutain archery.com i have like
40. when ever i get 4 or 5 that need fletching, i just drop them off at the local bow shop. they only charge like 10 bucks for all of them.
