removing my 3" spacer lift.. :(

well, I added a 2.5" add a leaf to my sagging leaf pack. but then the front was so low it looked dumb. So I installed the 3" spacer on the fron coils and all was well. The truck was nice and even. now however, I have my fiberglass camper on it and plan to add a few more things to the bed which has added weight to the rear and the front is now higher than the rear and it will only get worse. besides it needs a alignment that I can't afford right now.
So my only solution is to remove the spacer. That is unless someone knows of a cheap way of getting my rear back up without causing driveline vibrations or adding a rough ride. The weight smooth out the ride a lot and I'm loving it!

 

i also installed a 2.5" aal. now that its settled the front is higher than the back. wondering if i can just add a 1" block to the rear????????????????????????????

 

new rear leaf pack. but if money is tight then i would just drop the front back down to even it out...

 

shackle lift or blocks

 

All the things you've described (AAL, lots of continuous weight) are going to destroy what is left of your rear springs. I think I would choose an extended shackle over a block but neither is a very good, long term solution.

 

Still on the fence with this. I love the way the truck looks lifted and don't want to remove it.... I did see a 1" lift from wheelers for dirt cheap. Might consider using that so that I won't have as much of a rack look. Or shackles? Got to think this over a little longer.
