longer.in.business.

SRQ is a third party. Who distributes the OG’s product.

Example: I buy a muzzle.. from Amazon, but it was made by the company “WhineyBitches”. I receive the product and then use it to shut you the fuck up. It works for a while but then you start bitching again... I request a new one from Amazon... but sadly... “WhineyBitches” is no longer in business. Therefore .. Amazon can’t do anything. Why ? BECAUSE THE COMPANY THAT MADE THE MUZZLE .. NO LONGER EXISTS.

Shut the fuck up. And move on.

I would personally shop at SRQ even more now, after seeing how they handled this situation.

The seller, despite not being the manufacturer, did make some money off the original sale, correct? They should have some responsibility in resolving this issue. It’s just good customer service. The OP is still their customer.

Which he did. We’re talking about an emblem falling off a grill, not a shock blowing up. He told him exactly what glue to use and he did offer to do it for him. Some people are never happy

I have a hard time believing someone would spend $475 on a grill. This must be the equivalent of the angry grills that have found their way onto jeeps, sad.

Absolutely, if the OP had this issue a year ago... This isn't like the OP received a faulty product. He ran this grille on his truck for a year before having an issue out of it. He's complaining about glue not sticking together after a year of being outside. Why did he spend $500 on a grille that's held together with glue? We've still yet to see pics of said grille too. Its been obvious from the interaction the company has had within this thread that his customer service is top notch compared to other 1 man shows. This is seriously just a case of tough luck, and you live/you learn. It sucks for OP, but this is life. OP has to accept responsibility that he spent $500 on something without checking out its warranty, and now he's gotta live with it. Its still zero reason to bash the retailer he bought it from; they didn't make it. They sold it, so they accept "some" responsibility in the tough cases, but again, this is no "typical" acceptable case for a refund. He's been using it installed on his truck for a year.. the fabricator doesn't exist anymore, so what can be done? Legal action against the fabricator for $500?

This is literally the equivalent of someone buying a new never installed Pelfrey bumper secondhand, figuring out a weld wasn't that great and failed, and then going after the secondhand seller for warranty. They're gonna say the same thing: we entered a contract that you agreed to, that fabricator doesn't exist anymore, thats unfortunate, but nothing can be done.

The item description did not say that's it held with glue, and paying 500 i was expecting better quality.
