Need some help from you gents! I bought an Ultragauge mx 1.3 specifically to monitor my transmission temps on my ‘11 TRD off-road. However, all I am getting is an Error. I’ve tried resetting it, unplugging and plugging it in, driven the truck two days with it on and nothing has changed. Still an error. Has anybody had this issue before and what did ou do?

    Thanks

I have an 11' and use the 12-15 codes as well.

Works great. The air temp was 107 outside today and gonna be 110 this weekend .
    Nice to monitor these temps

I couldnt figure out how to make the 05-11 codes work for ultragauge blue but the 12-15 worked great using mx format for my '11

I recently upgraded from wired UG to UG Blue. The wired version trans temp worked great. I'm trying to add custom gauge to UG Blue to get the transmission temp. Could somebody tell me what the "Left\Right 31" line of code does? There doesn't seem to be a place to add it to the custom gauge setup.

I also have the blue. When you go to add the gauge, I think i used the middle option, NOT the blue format.
I used the '12-'15 info from first post here
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ultragauge-transmission-temp.318340/

other than it shows up as :trn :*F it works. I cant get it to accept without the colon.

Thanks. Yeah, mine is a 2013 so I'm using the latter script. Yes the middle option was the way to go however I had to leave out the last line "Left/Right 31". It seems to be working, I'm keeping my finger crossed. Thanks!
