New (to me) Tacoma

    Hello all. I bought the Tacoma from original owner about just under 2 weeks ago. I've been driving diesel cars (VW TDI) and a diesel truck (Dodge Cummins) for over 20+ years. I gotta get used to a bit lower mileage and filling up with Gas instead of Diesel at the pump now.
    I still have VW TDI's in the family and the Dodge Cummins Diesel trick. They aren't leaving anytime soon.
    I've been looking at different Tacoma Forums for a few weeks, and like this one, so here I am.
    I'll get a pic posted after I clean up the truck and put a shine back on it.
    Original owner had it serviced well. Unfortunately he threw all the paperwork away on all the service, but I got the shop's name and talked to the guy. I feel quite comfortable with it and I work with the previous owner, so no issues there.
    I prefer the 2.4L and automatic. It's a daily driver, only about 20 miles round trip a day. about 60% stop and go, 40% FWY each day.

    Thanks all, I feel Welcome here.
    I've found a lot of good information on this site and am considering some possible mods, changes, to make the truck mine.
    I'll start scouting out a couple wrecking yards to see what's there. I haven't picked anything other than Dodge or VW parts in years, but I like what I've read on this site and have a great idea of what to look for when I scout things out at the yards. This coming weekend (Thanksgiving) I plan on polishing out the headlights to clear them up. I'll try and polish out the truck too so it looks better.
    I have a question. Does anyone know if there's a specific (rattle can) brand and color of paint for the stock silver wheels? The ones on my truck need a good cleaning and a fresh look.
