2020 cruise and tss not working in the rain? I remember reading somewhere on here where some people were having problems with the 2018/2019 and there was a tsb to seal off the sensor. I had a 2019 sr5 and had zero issues with the stock grill or the TRD Pro grill I installed. I drove the sr5 60 miles in the rain last night and traded it in on a 2020 TRD Sport and 8 miles from the dealership the cruise stopped and gave me a clean sensor error. It eventually came back on but did it again about 7-8 times on the way home. Anybody else with a 2020 experience this?

My 2018 had to get the TSB performed. I would be shocked to know that the 2020's don't have the stupid foam pad "fix" already installed.
I'd bring it to the stealership ASAP though because my truck also had the "BRAKE" emergency system start to come on a couple of times before the sensor was "fixed". Sad Toyota doesn't have this worked out.

Gatordog , that’s the thing that I couldn’t believe. You have a known problem in 2018/2019 and did not fix it on the 2020. It was dark, foggy, and raining pretty good but I drove the sr5 to the dealership taking the exact same route and no problems at all.

I had one 'clean sensor' episode during my 5000 mile road trip. This was while driving through wet snow storm. the sensor area was caked ice and snow. When the ice melted, the error disappeared. I've driven through rain without any issues.

I’ve had the “BRAKE” sequence start on me twice in the past month. It was raining both times when it happened. I hate taking my truck to the dealership...but I think it’s time to make an appointment.

2020 here. Happened to me twice this morning while driving through the rain. I guess I'll be having the dealership look into it when I bring it in for my 5,000 mile tire rotation. I agree that this is disappointing when it was a known issue.
