It's the Addictive Desert Design Honeybadger bumper. The lighting is Rigid. Thank you. I really like it too. :)

Understandable about not wanting to drill the roof! While I've had success, especially with antenna mounts, it is nerve racking to punch holes in the roof.

To skirt around here is what I have done:
I have a large bundle (9 wires 12, 14 and 18 AWG) for my roof (since this pic I finished the cable management), but it gets the point across I have a lot of exposed cables to deal with.

First I ran 2AWG from the battery to both of my auxiliary fuse/relay boxes, one under hood, the other behind the rear seat.

From these I tap the switched roof lights, my auxiliary cargo lights and the controller for the roof top antenna motor (among others). Some of these are patched back to the key-slot switches and other activators.

Finally, I then run under the rear seats (not shown) through the rear seat center hole grommet and fished my cables up through my roll bar, emerging though some liquid tight (can flex when the bed does) and up to my purpose built harnesses on the roof.

[Apologies to guys who follow my build thread...but I get a lot of questions (always happy to answer) and sometimes re-post this stuff up here as newbies join the forum or guys get more confident in cutting and drilling.]

Yes that's the black tip I've seen in the past. I really dont feel like replacing my whole exhaust to for the black tip, although all my other chrome is removed so to keep the TRD I might just have to....

I went the exact same route, but couldn’t get the boot retainer to fit. I eventually chopped up and modded the retainer to come up with this:

EDIT: I wonder if the manual trans shifter is a “thicker” shaft. It also tapers from the base up to the threads.

Did you get the exact same shift boot retainer from Sick Speed? The one i bought was all one piece with the threads milled on the inside. I looked up some threads which confirmed that the threads for the 3rd gen AT is 8 x 1.25. So, that's what I ordered. I do not know the correct threads for the manual. In my case, with the automatic, the shift boot retainer slid over the shaft and threaded just fine without interference from the non-threaded portion of the shaft.

BTW, love that shift knob (OEM?). When i looked them up they were pricey so I didn't go that route.

No apologies needed here, saves me the task of going back and searching for a post that I usually don't find.

I think the seller’s “brand” was different, but the piece was identical. It was a single piece with the machined threads inside, but it wouldn’t fit far enough down on the increasing diameter shaft to reach the threads. I cut the shaft piece off and opened the hole to fit. Then I cut the shaft to make a “matching” knob lock nut.

Gotcha, there must be a beefier shaft on the MT Tacoma; which makes sense.

Thanks for the write-up and pictures. Looks nice. Im going to bookmark this for future reference. Wish I had that much confidence in drilling holes but I don't. I'm debating on getting a roof rack which I probably don't really need and getting a light bar which again I probably don't really need. I could just get the roof rack and a hidden bumper light bar as opposed to putting one on the rack. Even installing the rack has me a little nervous but I feel like I can manage that. There are some good sales going on and I'm just trying to decide what I want to do. I appreciate your input and thanks for the info.

I'm going to require a translation of this ^ 'need' phrase regarding making purchases and mods to my Taco.:lalala:

As far as drilling holes, as with most holes in Taco's the best thing to do is fill them with lots of caulk before you finish.
