People with engine cages, did you relocate your fuse box? Is that a realistic idea to get it inside the cab and away from exposure? Im planning on relocating the battery to the rear soon and wondering if i should be thinking about a home for the fuse box too.

The sheer amount of wiring going to the fuse box makes it very difficult to move from the stock location. I just finished my engine cage a few weeks ago and dealing with that was one off the bigger pita for the process. Just tuck it up as high as you can. Also if you’re keeping your wiper motor and wipers, grab a 1st gen washer fluid reservoir and pump. I think there’s 2 different sizes so get the smaller one. Much easier to mount than the 2nd gen gigantic one.

Here’s the only pic I got on my phone of my setup.

Edit: superchargers are stupid and take up way too much room. Without one you’ll have a lot more room to build and design your cage.

You don’t want high voltage / current circuits in the cab

Looks like a PITA to change plugs, probably take the SC off anyway during that process?

With enough extensions and Wobblies it can be done without removing the sc and wouldn’t be too bad now that I don’t have inner fenders.

That geiser does well. That’s the 5L of clyde Stacey. Finished 2nd in class (trophy truck legend).

It also has twin ls3’s. Truck is bad ass. Had twin diesels in it but they were just blowing them up constantly.

I went to the thousand with geiser and that was one of the trucks we were chasing. It’s the rpm truck in front of our superduty.BCA6BA1D-54CF-4B83-A045-57546791813D.jpg

That is a cool. No doubt the Geiser trucks are wild. Next year will be cool seeing another awd added to the mix.

They make good stuff. All the trucks finished with no real issues. Robby was in the g6 and had an issue with the TPS. Ended up just having some water in the connection and got running.

Do any of you guys have strong opinions on ADV vs. McNeil Fiberglass?

Looking at besides only, 6'. Undecided on flat top or TT style.

My main concern is fit, and my ADV fenders were good.
I can get McNeil for ~$60 cheaper though.

My adv bedsides fit amazing. Easily the best fitting fiberglass I’ve worked with (though most of my experience is with bikes). My front trailer products fit like shit lol. Want to get the adv one piece front some day

Are you 4wd? Do you have the ABS control module on the passenger side of the engine bay?
Anyone have any experience with relocating(less than ideal, has hard lines running to it) or bypassing/removing this module? I’d lose my ABS brakes and have a light on forever but oh well

    Advanced FTMFW.

Especially if you need them shipped. The fit is wildly better than McNeil, and they don't show up cracked/broken.

I'm really not inclined to move that fuse box, but it would be nice to have it out of the way. The real question is if I can get my hydros under the fuse box, because those motherfuckers are definitely going in no matter how much work is required.
