Local Fabricator will be creating some custom rock rails with removable side steps for me, sadly there are not any pictures I can find of 1st Gen Tacomas with something like this.

Attached some pictures from the Nfab steps with removable steps for the 3nd gen so you get an idea, + Bonus pic of my truck.
