Just curious to what some of you are getting with this size of tire? I plan on doing a 2 inch lift in the near future and I wanna run 285s.

I’m wondering the same thing. How do you plan on doing the 2 inch lift?

No offense but it's a truck, why do you care about gas mileage? I have all Kings Extended Travel front and rear. SOS Concepts front skid plate. A Relentless Fab Lower Stingray Winch Mount Bumper with winch. A rear Wilco Hitchgate and 255/80/16 E Rated Cooper STT Maxx tires. I get around 15-16 mpg. And in the end if I cared about mpg I'd buy a Prius. Mod the fuck out it and enjoy it.

285/75/16s here. 2.5" lift, all the armor, full racks on top of a high-top shell. 2017 DCLB SR5 4x4.

I get 16-18mpg usually, with a mix of city and highway. Long-distance highway driving at 75mph drops to 15-16. Towing a 5k lb camper gets 10-12mpg highway depending on speed. I was thinking I'd need a Tundra, but I've been impressed with this Taco.

Just got these on today but have been riding 285/75r16 in the past (essentially the same size). 285/70r17 AT3Ws in C load range. I carry about an extra 700 lbs in armor, the canopy, and gear on a daily basis and I usually average about 20 mpg on the highway if I keep it around 65 and drive like a grandma. 17.5-18 mpg once I creep over 75.

I get less than stock. I get even less since I now drive more aggressively. After I install a supercharger I’ll get even less and as I will then drive even more aggressively I’ll get less than less than that. As that is a quadruple negative I’ll either get zero mph or infinite. I suppose with real world calculus it may also be something in between.
