    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

You know... I'm actually very at peace witth it. (Emotional... don't get me wrong... but at peace).

The way it happened was kind of magical. Cloe was 14 years old. We lost Riley 4 years ago He was 13 years old. Tonight, Cloe waited for my wife to come home from work. My wife was sitting with Cloe, comforting her. Our German Shepherd was laying on our bed, with her head hanging over the side, wimpering a bit. My wife was telling Bailey (our GSD) it was ok. All of the sudden Bailey stopped wimpering and perked up and started staring at the wall as if something was there. Then she turned and started staring at our pillows on our bed. My wife thought it was odd but then thought to say to Cloe, that "It's ok Cloe, your brother is here, he came to get you."

Cloe's breathing slowed and less than a minute later, she was gone. At the same point she stopped breathing, Bailey got up and moved to the other side of the bed.

2 things about Riley... we called him our wallflower because he had a habit of standing next to the wall and leaning his side up against it... His favorite spot in the world was on our pillows on our bed.

Makes me miss our labs. They are hands down the best duck dogs on the planet, not to mention faithful as all get out.

Took the wife and dogs out to the snow. As you can see, Sam is more excited than Mai. I am very thankful for these two. Happy Thanksgiving!

When I was reading this it hit me like it was my dog . Started feeling like about to get a panic attack and shortness of breath.

Went my moms house couple hours latter for lunch and found there dog passed last night . They noticed her on grass and she just laid there , kind of breathing heavy . Coca never showed signs of being sick or anything so she was concerned .Sister went in house to get keys to take her to animal hospital and told my nephew to watch her . When sister went back to take her she took one last breath and passed .

I read a few stories here on the passing of our beloved pets but never felt the way I did till I read yours . The feeling I had when I was reading about Cloe was the feeling I would have if I was there when Coca passed . Unreal . Also sorry for your loss .

They also have 5 other dogs so it helps

It was unofficial “bring your Malinois to work day”...since there were all of 3 other people in house, and they were on the other side of the building. Lots of fetching happened at work today...shhh!
