Well the Ridgeline is superior to the current HiLux

Your typical mental midget thinks the current HiLux shares the DNA of old, but the current version is the Bruce Jenner of HiLux.

Why the fuck do people want trucks that look like mini vans with beds.

People want trucks that they can order from the dealer with 35s...or 44s.

An e30 can be fixed with the tools in the trunk lid and stuff you find on the side of the road... Im convinced the e30 is a stronger car than the old hilux.
Only pic I have of mine right now - 256,000 miles on her

It's more about a better diesel engine being a threat to the American Diesel market.

They have shitty engines. Especially the German-built models. Not only are they the highest cost of any brand to maintain, they also have unreliable engines. Owning a beemer out of warranty is for the very brave, or very rich. A friend of mine has the main crank is his V8 beemer break in half 2 months before the warranty ran out. It was a $38,000 repair bill. He got it fixed for free, and sold it just in time. Biggest shitboxes on the market for sure. They drive very nice and look great mind you.

Maybe true for the newer ones, but the M10, S14, M20 and M30 engines from the golden years where dead nuts reliable. When I sold my E30 it had 270k and still ran and looked like new

Not true. There's usually a fleet of new ones down the street from my work.

They look like minivans with a bed, kinda like the ones people on here tend to have on....

I have taken several new to +200k mile BMW’s, Volkswagens in I4, VR6, I6, and V8’s. Maybe your friend had bad luck.

"Er... sir, didn't Bruce Jenner win a gold medal in the decathalon, affirming his status as the world's greatest athlete at the time? And wouldn't that be pretty solid fucking DNA (regardless of new styling)? Sorry about the language sir."
