I replaced the pads and rotors on my brothers 2013 crosstrek over the summer hoping to restore some of the stopping power. It helped some but the brake pedal still fades to the floor when pressed hard. It still seems to stop okay but the fade is concerning. I bled and flushed the brakes the other day and it seemed to help some but I hopped in his car today and it was exactly the same as before, if you press the pedal it will fade down to the floor slowly. When I bled them there were a lot of air bubbles coming out of the passenger side front caliper but I bled until they went away and even had someone else watch to make sure they were gone (I was using a one man bleeder). Any idea on what this could be? Seems like there’s a leak or bad seal somewhere that’s letting air in.
