Lol, yeah! I was embarrassed to post it here, but at the same time I am excited how well it works, for now.

Dude, that is legitimate redneck engineering. You could have taken the easy way out and simply put that speaker on the passenger seat, but no... you stepped up and went full-hillbilly. The ratchet straps are pure genius. Feel no embarrassment here - stand tall! Well done! :fistbump:   :bananadance:

In that case, Thankyou very much! I thought about the seat, but there's already limited space with the single cab. Also the sound wasn't that great coming from the seat area, and that's when I had my genius idea!

Practical and makes good sense. I have been considering bronze or the gold Ray10’s but keep coming back to the white. Like I’ve considered stepping the tire size up to 285/75/17 but everything just works so well I’m hesitant to change especially pulling the little camper

gold to me is too much, even bronze was a stretch from black for me. It was dark enough to be subtle but im still not use to it. Up to you, tires will take a hit on your mpg

I’m already 255/80/17 but yes it will affect mpg. More concerned though with a loss in power and having to regear

motto is you change one thing, you change 10 more

you can get by with avoiding most things but it just comes full circle in the end or until something fails.

The tailgate is beat up near the top which is part of the reason I want the cap to come down so far. I've considered that option when I saw someone do it here on this thread. It looked great! But I feel I would have to basically repair the damaged areas before I could take that step. Having a wider heavy duty cap would cover the blemishes and protect from further damage. :)

Took the Tacoma to the New England Air Museum today seems like the trucks and airplanes go together, as a side note if you're in the Connecticut Windsor Locks area at the Bradley Airport the New England Air Museum is an excellent place to spend some time ,have a good holiday
