    For the west Tampa people, if you want to get rid of some old tires that you kept while thinking they would actually be worth something but they were not...there is a tire place called MB Tires at 4421 Gunn Highway. They sell used tires. I have dropped off several used but still had tread tires there. Maybe even get a free flat repair in exchange. Hope this info helps someone. ;)

    Sounds like a possible plan for sighting in my shotgun at SW.

    My AR only has a match grade 18" barrel and I'm still using a scope on it. I have a reflex sight on it as well for short range shots, but I'm thinking about taking it off and just leaving the scope.

    Fist-sized groups, huh? What's the twist on the barrel? My R700 .223 Rem only had a 1-10 twist and it wouldn't stabilize anything more than 55 grains. It did best with 53gr flat base SMKs. Maybe try a lighter bullet. It seems like you'd have to have a lot of twist to stabilize a 77gr .223. My AR has a 1-8 twist, so I'm hoping it'll stabilize 69gr SMKs.

    Let me know how much you want for that HS-6.

    It's gonna be cool out. It's supposed to just be breaking 60* at 1100 hrs. and with a high of 70* I don't expect to be sweating much. sounds like a perfect day at the range.

    My bottle of HS-6 is about 10 years older than that and I still plan on using it. Took the AR out to day and after a couple false starts (scope rings worked loose, dummy my for not locktiting them) and some wind blowing the target around, I fired a 10 shot group of factory Federal Gold Cup .69gr SMKs and got this...

    Obviously I believe I can do better, even with the Fed Gold Cup, but when I start handloading for it, it will tighten up nicely. I'll be satisfied if i can get it consistently between .50 and .75 MOA I'm going to start with the 69gr SMK. BTW, my .223s for my R700 didn't work...as least not in the mag. They could be chambered one at a time, but if I wanted to do that, I'd have brought my match rifle, lol. I'm going to get a straight up body die and resize them all to SAMI spec. Hopefully they will feed from the mag then.

    $45 sounds good for the powder. We just have to set up a time to meet.

    Hello peeps, I've been on TW for a little while now and was wondering if there are any meet ups at any of the Florida trails. I live in Wesley Chapel and see jeep convoys going places on 75 and wondered if any of our local Tacoma folks do the same.
