    I'm not aware of any TPMS system that has a high-enough reporting rate where it would be useful in that situation. You're going to notice a sudden massive drop in tire pressure without TPMS.

    Rather, TPMS is meant to alert lackadaisical owners who can't be bothered to check their tires a couple times a year that their tires are, in fact, slowly losing air and need to be topped off.
