I've spent hours reading through tons of the suspension and lift threads and I'm still confused.

My truck is a 2010 DCSB Prerunner SR5 with 241k miles. I have a pro comp 3/2 lift/level kit on it with 285/75/17 BFG KO2s on outlaw 8.5 wheels. I'm happy with the look and stance of the truck. At 241k miles, my stock shocks are worn out and need to be replaced. I have no need to lift the truck any higher, but I'm not against it either. Bilstein 5100s seem to be the most popular choice to lift tacos, but I already have a lift/level kit. So...heres my question.

    Do I need the 5100s?
Will installing 5100s set to 0 work well with the 3/2 lift/level kit for ride quality?
If I install 5100s set to 0, do I need to upgrade springs or UCAs?

    Or....

Is there another shock that would increase ride quality with the lift/level kit, stock prerunner springs and UCAs that are on the truck now?

Thanks in advance for any advice, recommendations, and insights.

    Happy Thanksgiving TW!

I have a 2017 but similar setup with the spacer lift. But noticed my shocks wearing out at 42k miles. The 5100’s set at the lower stance would work well and should be an improved shock I believe. Others can correct me if I’m totally wrong.
I decided to pull trigger on a black Friday toytec deal and it arrived today. So my spacer kit is coming off.
