With the rusty stock bumper, I decided to do something different and a little more low profile. A new aftermarket non chrome bumper was also over $250 where I live, this total project was $75 in materials plus time. As a finish, I used a spray can version of bed linear coating, the rear is painted with a low gloss farm implement paint. 2"x6" 3/36" thick tubing was used as a base, 1/4" thick channel was used for the license plate area, flush mount leds for the license plate lights, and reused the factory mounting brackets.
