Let’s see your Christmas tree hunts

Pretty good amount of snow today. Nothing terrible but about a mile further in we were dragging the under carriage. Had to turn around since our friend got stuck and couldn’t make it. Lots of other 4x4’s wouldn’t try to go any farther. Seemed weird to me, it wasn’t that bad. The Tacoma did great. First time I had it in the snow and I’m impressed with how it did.

 

You should have been there, it was quite an adventure. Once I made it through the closed lanes, police road blocks, and accident scenes, I had to drive around for 20 minutes to find the perfect place to park, only to walk 1/4 mile to get in the area I wanted. I passed several 2wd and 4wd vehicles, and there was even a fight at one spot. Once I got to where I wanted to be, as soon as I turned the corner, there it was, the majestical tree I was looking for. I knew had come to the right place. I texted my wife and told her I would be home soon, my mission was complete. She was excited as well, because her favorite part of the christmas season is the trees. She says there is something about the trees that is not like the rest of the year. She was very happy when I came home and surprised her with not one, but two of these beauties, one of which is a darker color than the other.
