3” Bilstein Lift (2” add a leaf rear)
I just lifted my Tacoma extra cab 2009 with a 3” bilstein coil over lift. I can see that the UCA is very close, but can’t tell if it will be a problem for larger tires. I have 16” rims and want to go to 285/75 or go to 17” rims and go 285/70. Will this work without problems at the UCA? If I change the rims, should I consider a negative offset (and how much) before I have problems with fender rubbing? Any input would be helpful! Thank you!

Thank you for all the nice greetings!

This was my first post in a forum, so I am not sure if I put the post in the right place. But I do appreciate all the warm welcomes!

Welcome. If you have factory wheels 285s will not fit.

    I’d go with UCAs first,
because 3” lift Will possibly give you Some vibration noises up front.
2” lift is preferable on stock UCAs

    Then to fit your 285s...
ya gots to cut away at ur precious baby.

    But..

    265/70/17s are pretty alright....:anonymous:

Welcome to TW! Regardless of your stock UCAs rubbing on anything, you should upgrade them as it will be hard, if not impossible, to get a 3" lifted truck aligned without aftermarket ones.
