per Meso at least another month. He met with morimoto at SEMA so might have the prototype already. Maybe Christmas time?

Doubt its that soon. Knowing meso, he will go through multiple levels of testing in order to ensure we get a solid product. This will take a few rounds of roll out in order to get it done.

Just wanted to follow up on this. @MESO sent me out a replacement passenger side signal right away, despite being busy at SEMA. I finally got around to swapping it out, and the replacement works perfectly. Thanks for the awesome customer service!

Just bought the Stage 1 Tail Light Kit. Already have the turn signals, which are a great addition.
    Thanks MESO:spending:

D*** you! There goes my resolution to not buy any truck parts for awhile.
These are going to look sweet with my BHLM with the Stage 2’s though! :D

Anticipating and prepping for the @MESO V5 Ultimate Mirror Turn Signals, in particular the DRL circuit. I want to control the DRL with the stalk switch in the cabin. Unmodified, the Meso DRL will be always on with ignition (the red wire in the four pin harness below).

By snipping the red wire and splicing in the DRL signal from the headlights, the side mirror DRL can be controlled with the stalk on the steering wheel. In other words, the "DRL Off" switch position on the stalk will actually turn off the Meso DRL. This modification goes a bit beyond plug and play as it involves tapping the DRL wire at the driver headlight (green in color) and routing the signal from the engine bay into the cabin, where it is spliced into the red wire of the Meso harness. I discuss the Meso Ultimate Turn V5 DRL integration into my overall vehicular DRL in this post.

This mod should become easier after Meso introduces the highly anticipated puddle light switch, which will extend the Meso A pillar harness further down from the A pillar and into the foot area of the cabin.

This is the "Y" connector sub harness on the Meso "A" pillar cable. This harness is delivered with the Meso Puddle Light kit. Meso smartly included Ultimate V5 Turn Signal signals in this harness for customers that will acquire Meso puddles and Meso V5:

    A Pillar Harness.jpg

Signals on four pin "A" harness (red, yellow, black, green) used for puddle lights:
    • +12 (constant) (middle black - always on) pin 19 A pillar harness (From dome cut relay)
    • PWM ground (middle yellow - puddle fade in/fade out) pin 11 APH (ILE)
Other signals on harness (for Meso V5 mirror turn LED):
    • 12V Ignition (red - this is the "DRL" signal) pin 13 APH (ECU-IG No. 2)
    • 12V illumination (green - dims the DRL at night) pin 12 APH (R44 illu(+)) and also illuminates Meso puddle switch
The V5 also uses +12 turn and ground (signals already present in mirror).

The @MESO puddle switch cable transforms cable circuit colors. Use this diagram to map the colors described above to the new cable. The white circuit is snipped and spliced (on the “Y” side) with the headlight DRL.
