Left side turn signal problems

So I’m at my whits end and I’ve searched all over so I’m reaching out for help. I’m doing an install of retrofitted headlights. I got upgraded DRLs through Diode Dynamics as part of it. The first problem I ran into was that the DRLs would not turn on at all. While troubleshooting this problem I’ve now ran into none of the turn signals on the left side of the truck at all. They did work for a bit and then I thought I heard a fuse blow. I can get it to come on from time to time but it will flash once and not come back on. None of the turn lights work on the left, not in the cluster or anywhere outside. I’m running Stage 1 Amber MESO sidemarkers, MESO mirror signals, switchback Diode Dynamic DRLs, and all stock in the rear. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am hoping I didn’t blow the relay in the gauge cluster. Oh and it’s a 2016 Off Road

 

@MESO or maybe @Muddinfun may have some insight.

 

Flashing once and stopping happens every time there is too much load on the turn signal circuit. It won’t work again until you turn the truck off and back on. (Then 1-2blinks and stops again)
I would pull the rear stock halogen turn bulb(in tail light) and test function again. Switching to a LED in the rear should fix the resistance issue now with all the added lights on the turn signal circuit.

 

I don’t know anything about 3rd gens.

 

Our trucks are retarded;
-can’t change the flasher relay(built into cluster)
-not enough resistance= hyperflash
-too much resistance= overload(shuts off like OP is experiencing)

come on Toyota...

 

I pulled the harnesses off of the tail lights but still having the same issue. I’ve now got resistors installed on the left DRL and turn signal

 

remove any aftermarket reistors.

 

Got them all removed and still just one flash then nothing

 

I also have yet to get my switchback DRLs to turn on, would this have anything to do with it?

 

Also the actual turn signal bulb is still incandescent. The other lights are tapped into it, possible issue?

 

Disconnected front turn signals. I get hyper blink on the left side marker. Still same issue on the right

 

Anyone out there have a wiring diagram of how you did all your lights after retrofitting? Maybe I wired wrong

 

Chasing ghosts now, left turn signals work fine. Right, not so much
