    John,

Unfortunately, our old Tacoma is not going to have as glorious of life as your 1997. It is now been demoted to the house fix it truck. We only use it may be once or twice a month. It is still a great truck, and it is fun to drive.

    Take it easy,
    Paul

I recognized it immediately when I seen it in my YouTube feed. Nice to see it up close. Super clean truck!! I’d take it over the new one any day!!

What no drag race???? Awesome truck. I want a supercharger so bad.

Why do you need a supercharger? My GF was listening to the video with me and answered correctly. "Why don't you need a Supercharger !!""

Well I WANTED a drag race as they typically do them when they match up a truck.

He said NO, said it wouldn’t be fair because I was superchargered, grrr

Would have be fun tho because my truck can kick all the new 50k Tacoma's to the side easily

Ahh makes more sense. I remember driving one back in like 2000, pop's had a demo from the dealership with the blower and I just remember it being a lot faster than his demo taco before lol, I definitely don't mind that kind of whine though

Lol, that's actually more how I remembered it and I see why! You ever run into another original owner and also had the blower since new? Plenty of original owners still with theirs, you might be the only original owner of a blown one from the beginning  there's gotta be more but don't think I've noticed one here in TW

I will interject here and say that in my opinion, John's truck should be considered "legendary status" with all that may bring. It has the right stuff to make it so. Original owner, original factory SC, original paint, well on its way to a million miles under John's care, and absolutely phenomenal overall condition given all of this.
Sure I love my own truck and am proud of it and the condition I've kept it in, but it's not a "legend". Not like this one.
I think John's truck should be somehow held in a certain regard in this forum. Not sure just how, but I think TW brass should find something.
