How many miles do you have on your 2016 or 2017

Mar 2017, 57k.

 

Oct 2016 delivery @ 84,000 kilometers - no serious issues yet. Tranny flares sometimes which concerns me. Still have powertrain until 100,000kms.

 

When you say flare do you mean it revs up like it's in neutral ?

 

Yes - to be exact twice now at low RPM going from reverse to D. Light pedal pressure and nothing.... let off and engaged.

 

Almost 3 years and 7000 miles. The mall is only two miles away.

 

Mine did that and I took it to the dealer and the truck had a code stored and they was able to fix it .

 

Bought mine about 6-8 weeks ago (CPO)
It was a lease vehicle & only had 7100 on the Odometer. The truck was the best priced, had the lowest miles & had better options than all of the used / CPO Trucks on the lot.

I bought mine April 2019 (it's a 2017)...it only had 6700 on it; it's got about 8500 now and it's been awesome

41K. Got new tires at 35K. Just bought a sealed replacement battery because the stock one leaks like crazy if you do any inclines or bouncing.

 

I’m curious about your situation, I’ve had what I believe is torque converter shudder since day one. It’s really noticeable from 1000-1500 rpms in every gear, but seems to go away at higher rpms. It seems to be getting worse as I put more miles on it. Is this at all what you were experiencing in the early stages? I’ve taken the truck in to the dealership a few times and get the “ it’s just how these trucks drive” excuse.

 

My 2017 has 26,874 miles on it. And i already got that weird 30,000 mile service "I just had to have" , lol

Mine really started out of nowhere, I was driving home one day and when it went to shift I noticed the shudder really bad, like driving over washboards on a dirt road. never had any previous signs that it was going bad, but yest 1000-1500 RPM is where its the worst, if i give it gas to get the revs higher, it goes away.

 

Got mine in Jan '17 and have 32k, I do a lot of motorcycle riding in the spring/summer as long as it isn't pouring.

 

Purchased my 2016 in Dec of 2016, I currently have 50k. It seems like people either have really low miles or really high - very polar.

 

Sounds just like what I’ve got going on, except I’ve only got 8500 miles on mine. Good to hear Toyota is taking care of you though!
