I recently got a rear bumper with a swing out and with it I relocated my camera but it left a hole on the handle that I want to cover to prevent any intrusion from the elements.

What have others done to mitigate this? Is there a part number that can be referenced?

Maybe look at a early 2nd Gen Tacoma without a camera as the handle may possibly be compatible.

Put the camera back and leave it unhooked, then get an extra camera for the bumper and Hook that one up in its place

Exactly what I'll be doing but been lazy to do it. I just got used to being able to only see a lil bit since my spare tire and gas cans are in the way lol!

Any decent collision shop will have a drawer full of body plugs that I’m sure you could find a match. If not, try and find something at a hobby store or a Michaels.

I've thought about it but that's quite a hole to try to patch up that way. (Phrasing)

While not a bad idea, that can probably get more expensive than what I'm wanting to pay. I'm sure there is a plastic cover or something! I can't be the only one!

I left my open, but maybe someone will chime in with a cheap solution.

The opening is kind of an odd shape, so there isn't really a plug that'll fit in there. RTV/Silicone may honestly be the best bet.

I don't know of anything for sure but if I were looking I would measure the diameter of the hole and try to find a plastic plug that would be close. Trim it up and seal it as needed.

For anyone interested I just took some plastic liner from the panels I cut, heated and molded it to the hole, put two screws on and it's been holding up well!

Try going to NAPA or a similar auto parts store, they carry all kinds of plastic plugs for holes in cars.

Anyone ever find a solution for the hole left after relocating the factory camera? Part number?
