Truck squeaks from the rear when going over bumps, any idea what it could be and how to fix? 2018 OR 20K miles with Wheeler's AAL and Bilstein 5100s. I've identified the sound to just be coming from the rear from getting out and rocking the truck. Texas weather has gotten a bit colder so could it be from the cold? Thanks

It’s most likely the leaf springs. Search around on here and you’ll find a few potential solutions but it is pretty much inevitable.

Any friction pads at both ends of the AAL? If not that’s your problem

I have the same setup and my squeak (coming from the same place) has gotten progressively worse over the past 500 miles.
I'm curious if friction pads are part of a standard install? I paid a shop to do the work and feel like friction pads should/would be part of the deal.

Mine is at the dealer troubleshooting a creaking, metal to metal noise on the front drivers side. I suspect a cab mount, sway bar or Fox shock. Only happens when off-roading.

spray fluid film all over the rear leaf springs. Squeak goes away instantly and film does not wash off

Isn’t there a concern with the lubricant drying out and causing more damage in the long run? I’d be stoked if it were that easy of a fix, but I get the feeling Teflon friction pads will be needed.

Just to follow up, I hit the rebound clips on the leaf springs with some white lithium grease and the squeak is gone.

For my 2017 I had the rear leaf spring squeak... I mentioned it to the dealer on one of the first check ups and they put small disc/pads between the springs as a TSB. No squeak since and at 48,000mi and going.

Mine drove me out of my mind for months. It was the f$cking spare tire chirping against the frame.
