    UPDATE...

Toyota Escondido replaced the broken cap, replaced the filter housing, new filter, wiped up all the oil they could find ( including the skid ), and topped off the oil with the 1q it was low. All totalled $102.09 and a 1/2 day lost. Thankfully, the oil light NEVER came on and they double checked the system to make sure it wasn't faulty. It could've been worse, but Thank God I noticed the oil on the floor in time. Had I been street parking, who knows how long it would gone in like that.

Now, back to the original project for the day...

Recarpet, new sisal rope, shorten it by 6", and flip the top platform so it's facing the right direction!

Corral canyon has a greater chance of harm. Jacumba has wider trails and is more sandy.

Thinking of hitting some dirt tomorrow. Rain here means high wind and possible flash floods in the desert, so thinking more local. Probably just a day run. Otay truck trail, pine valley, something like that. Figure i'll leave time and place open until I see if anyone is interested.

I used progear, fast turn around time, and they even cleaned up the rusted Toyota gears I brought them to brand new. Awesome guys!

Did the fox 2.0 install and trying to adjust the preload on them is a bitch. I ended up buying a shop press from harbor freight in order to adjust it. Next suspension I'm sticking with coils that use spanner wrenches.

The bolt and claw thing didnt give me enough clamping pressure. And I wanted to keep my limbs intact
