I just recently changed my tires and rims over to winter rims and tires. I forgot about the TPMS sensors so of course now the light is on my dash. I think I will have to just deal with the light on, but if anyone has any ideas on how to turn the light off that would be much appreciated. I have a 2019 TRD Sport 4x4.
    Thanks

I don't believe there is anything you can do to get rid of the light without getting a second set of sensors for the winter wheels.

Be sure to write down the Sensor IDs from the existing set. They are reported in the Carista app or with TechStream.

Also, folks have said that there are TPM sensors that can be bought and cloned with the same Sensor IDs so that swapping sets is painless. I have no direct experience here, but it sounds like a neat idea.

Cloning sensors is bad news! I cloned the sensors from my stock wheels. My truck would detect those sensor from two houses away and the whole system would error out on me. I ended up having to completely drain out my tires and reprogram them to have new IDs. That was a pain. LOL!

Anyways, get some sensors for your winter wheels or put a set of sensors in a pressurized container and keep that somewhere in your truck.

A little round seasonal sticker on the dash is all the Op needs!
