So I think I got the solution to the switch.

I dont want to wire into the Stereo System that seems like a bad idea. But I can use the 12V outlet underneath the Temperature controls. That would work out great got turning the unit on.

Turning it off I am going to use MacDroid app. When it loses connection to the ODBLink LX it will power the unit off.

Ordering the Fuse box for the truck on next payday and hopefully next week I will take the Dash apart and get the unit installed

No I hadnt forgotten just had to put it on hold due to. Roommate had a large melt down and wracked alot of things in the house. Had to move out of that place and settle into my new position. Been looking for someone to help as I need to get the frame built to hold the unit.

Ran test on the unit when I moved from Memphis to Dallas. It worked like I planned on so its just building a frame and getting it wired into the truck at this point

The only thing I havent figured out is how to get the GPIO to trigger power down. Still working on that part

Other adjustment is installing a cell booster instead of the Jetpack. But this part may not be done until spring

Here is the booster I am looking at: https://www.amazon.com/SureCall-N-R...5011&rnid=2470954011&rps=1&s=wireless&sr=1-15

I still need to do some more research into it as well but will only be used when I am off road

Sorry its been a moment since I posted on here. I did a complete mock up and test without installing it. Issue I ran into with it is that the Tinkerboard did not like running for more then 20 minutes with Nav working. Think that was a over heating issue with the unit.

But I am changing this up and going to a lazy way option that replaces my dash stereo:

Thinking on going with this option and trying to figure out if I need the iDataLink with it? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084KXFYXZ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A32QR6D7S73KI&psc=1

I am still thinking Full Android and maybe a minute as I think I can start making progress on this
