Had my '17 OR serviced today (20K service at 7.5K miles) and the weirdest thing happened after. They did the usual, oil change and tire rotation, nothing else.

I got to work immediately after leaving, with my key (MESO fob) in my pocket like I do every day, and go to touch the door handle like I always do, and nothing happens. Hmm. Then I just put my hand in my pocket and lock it with the fob, and I happen to notice that the center LCD display screen in the dash is flashing on and off. No warnings or anything just flashing on and off.

I tried to lock and unlock the truck with the door handle, wouldn't work, but using the fob worked like usual. Door was shut all the way, but the screen just flashed on and off. I took a video of it and then started and stopped the truck a dozen times, it kept doing it. So off I was back to the dealer. I get there and talk with the service manager, explained it to him and lo and behold, everything is fine! No issues, but I showed him the video and he had never seen or heard of it before.

So back off to work I went haha.

Anyone seen this before? Link to video below.

    UPDATE:
Probably no one cares but I figured out what was causing this.

Started happening more and more frequently. When it was doing this my Samsung phone kept wanting to start up the Samsung Virtual Reality program.

Turns out the USB cable I was using to charge was going bad. Only found out cause the end that plugs into my phone would get super hot to the touch.

Swapped it out with a different USB cable and no more problems.

Just posting an update in case I could some day maybe help one person out haha.

Did the radio also start up on its own? "When the truth is found to be lie-ee-ee-ee-s, and all of the joy within you die-ee-ee-ees..."? That's the PCT sytem. Psilocybin Counter-Theft.

If not it's probably just haunted. Wash it with holy water.

Nope, radio was fine, just the center info screen in the dash.

Was a constant 1 second on, 1 second off.
