Im' currently on the fence about getting the Icon Stage 2 kit from Metal Tech but I have a feeling it is a bit much bigger lift than what i am looking for. I have no clue when it comes to suspension so I don't know what the fuck i'm doing. At 20% off it is tempting as hell though!

I essentially want a slight lift for esthetics abut I also have a shell on all the time so that adds about 200lbs all the time. I also often carry a 4bike rack on my hitch that adds at least 80 lbs and often 4 bikes that add an additional 120lbs. So that’s 400lbs. When we go on trips that can increase by 200-300. Every once in awhile I also tow a trailer but not that often. These things make it seem like but ass sags, even with just the shell. I go off road a fair amount but no real rock crawling so clearance isn't an issue for me.

    Questions:

What are the pros and cons of the ICON stage 2 lift?
Is there a better cure to my problem?
How much will my ride quality be affected by such a lift?
    What else will be affected?

    Thanks.

I would get it. If you get a good lift system you won’t notice much of a difference in the way the truck handles

the Icon setup seems overkill but also good if I add anything in the future. I also have NOT heard the same about Icon not riding well but like everything else on here, that thought is subjective.

@HeadStrong Off-Road might be a better option. As you can call and explain your needs and she will point you in the right direction.

I've been chatting with Marie. She's must be taking the weekend though and I'd need to know more by the end of the day to take advantage of the 20%off that Metal Tech is offering.

She is dealing with the massive buy in on ADS and king stuff. I think you could piece a setup together that'll be better for the money for close to the same. 20 percent is awesome tho.

I have the Icon adjustable extended coilovers with the billet delta upper control arm that comes in the Icon stage 9 kit, and totally love it. I am getting the rest of the stage 9 kit rear suspension to complete the lift.. this maybe over killed, but totally love it..
My personal opinion is, that the kit you are looking at may also be over killed to what you wanted for but you won't regret it.
