I have a 2019 SR5 with the factory fogs. They are an h16 bulb which is only 19w. They were somewhat useful for the foggy mornings. I would have liked them to be more useful in the rain to see the lines a little more clearly directly in front of me. They don't light up the sides of the road very well.

I'm interested in the KC G4s in amber. I read crashnburn's stuff and dig the amber color as opposed to the typical yellow. I saw a few people say they pointed out more towards the sides of the road, which would help me with all the deer in Pennsylvania.

I'm just curious if they're worth the upgrade. A lot of people have the 55w h11 fog lights I think. I was hoping maybe someone upgraded from the h16s 19w and had input.

Any experience with the KC G4 Ambers?

KC G4 ambers produce great color, and the KCs will mount flush which will point the lights further to the side to get much improved shoulder illumination, but the intensity of the amber lights is low. Below is a comparison vs the H11 TRD lights at 18'. If wanting amber the KCs are a much better choice than the Morimotos, but selective yellow is quiet a bit higher in output than amber. Worth it is all up to you.

Thanks crash. The color is a huge selling point.

I figure I'm going to go for it. The 19w halogens are extremely weak in comparison to the 55w on the TRDs and above.

I appreciate all your input on the forums.
