A little bit of this, a little bit of that...
Any of you guys have a source for OEM remanufactured half-shafts (CV Axle) in the D/FW area?
I have broken leaky CV boots.

You can ship your OEM CVs in as cores to CVJ Axles in Denver.

I'd suggest optioning them with 100% Toyota boots as those last the longest by far. The aftermarket neoprene boots will go out in a year if you're in 4WD a lot.

I highly highly highly recommend not giving CVJ business unless you're just buying their high angle boots

And I can't even recommend those because both of mine are torn after a year. Don't know of anyone else selling reman Toyota axles besides Toyota themselves.

There has to be somewhere... I can look into it after work. CVJ's warranty policy is outrageously selfish especially for a company who's axles seem to take less stress than toothpics.

I started a thread about the various versions from Napa. Search my username and you’ll find a lot of info.

Thanks for the responses. I swapped the drive shafts with the NAPA lifetime ones. I'm going to clean, inspect and attempt to rebuild the OEM drive shafts myself. Does Toyota sell the birdcage and the spider with rollers?
