Exactly! I'm actually planning on buying my first car back (92 4Runner) from my parents and using that as my daily's daily haha. I'll be able to garage the runner, the truck, the Supra and my gfs car with a little bit room left for a small workshop. Oh and I have an entire RV garage in the back completely empty :anonymous:

Oh yeah that's true I thought you were just renting, then yeah that'll help a ton.

    Stuff. Also things.
That setup sounds awesome. You should put a lift in that RV garage!

I was renting a few years ago and then my fiancée and I moved into the house we’re selling now.

That’s the endgame. Nice lift with a welder and an entire workshop up there. But all in due time

+1 on the lift. We’re waiting for a tornado to destroy our shop so we can rebuild it taller to include a lift and/or an upstairs apartment with some help from the insurance.

Nice man! Congrats on retiring but too bad you couldn't keep the Tacos. But you're still in a Toyota so that's all that matters! If you're ever up in Georgia let me know

Not bad at all, my gfs parents just moved near there so we may be down in that area somewhat frequently. Oh nice, that place is crazy

Thanks! Been super busy with stuff or else I'd keep these threads more up to date. I'll eventually update it better here soon

Get a transmission jack, makes getting the trans in and out a breeze. I have a big red that I got from northern tool, I use it a ton around the garage for random stuff as well, hell it was my welding cart for a few months. Some people will say you can bench press it in or use a floor jack, but that's a pretty effective way of increasing a project cost 10fold with medical bill's LOL!! It was around 220 bucks at the time so pretty cheap . Plus you will be able to pull the trans off with the tcase attached which will save you a few hours.

My buddy has a transmission jack from harbor freight I was gonna use. If he didn't I was going to buy one because I've heard it helps a ton, especially with reassembly

I saw the marlin crawler link and thought for a second you were getting dual cases :anonymous:

I also second the transmission jack. My harbor freight one works great.

So after going thru your build I saw this pic which I think may have answered one of my questions but wouldn't hurt to get a confirmation

There weren't any plugs on those 2 "vents" on the top and the driver side of the bell housing?

Also to get the input shaft seal is taking the bellhousing off required? I'm having conflicting info and would rather not if I don't have to.

    Here's pics of mine

I assume you are talking about those rectangle slots? Nope no plugs. You dont HAVE to take the bell housing off to get the cover for the input shaft seal off, but it makes it alot easier and its and extra 2mins worth of work. I would do it because you can then get a torque wrench on on the cover plate bolts and it's one less thing to have to work around.
