i was not sure how thick it was supposed to go on!

the only thing i have heard so far from others on TW that have messed around changing the fuel pump, etc. is some of the fittings are very tight to wrench off, hopefully mine are not badly corroded or anything!

... in a real pickle with my location

my uncle that lives in the sticks outside of Columbia MO says the county uses some type of fertilizer on his highway in front of his house to help with the removal of snow, not sure about ice
always leaves his lawn nice and green in the spring with all of that fertilizer washing into the yard

i am curious if after 12 days of application you have noticed any difference in appearance in the orangish spot on the LCA with FF applied?

have been looking into this Corrosion Free stuff that is claiming to 'dissolve and flush away rust and corroded contaminants'
ordered some and awaiting its arrival, cannot wait to experiment with it on my relatives 2nd gen Tacoma and see how it goes about dissolving and protecting, I believe it has the frame rubber coated though from new so I will need to find the Deets on if its safe to spray on that stuff or not

wish it would get here already, its supposed to be 50 degrees out today, nice and warm to get under there

That's calcium chlroide. It creates heat and melts the snow and ice. Also a fantastic fetilizer, however it is exceptionally corrosive to metal.

that is interesting, i will have to ask him about that again

they threw that junk down on our main city streets here last February to destroy an inch of ice that they could not pretreat the roads due to heavy rain turn to heavy snow
it just caked inside my wheelwells like huge icicles, unfortunately i did not get pics of the event but believe me it happened :drunk:

It is terrible stuff for vehicles, but fantastic for melting ice in a specified temp range! I swear they sit around a table every year and come up with new methods for destroying our precious trucks!

so late today i found that my compressor dryer beads were spent and all pink, had to throw them in the oven to take moisture out, turn them back to blue :bananadead:
put a little delay in the plans for last minute winter prep, one more day of 50d weather this week.

i think i figured out how to properly work the spray gun, it wasn't misting as i thought it should so had to foam brush the excess all around until it was evened out.
it was a very pretty blueish color :cookiemonster: and no rotten egg smell lol
