I have an 18 gauge Hitachi, good price and have literally replaced all the trim in my house with it. Works great.

*Not saying Dewalt isn’t a good brand. My nail guns just happen to be Hitachi!

I've got mainly all Ridgid stuff and I'm still gonna pick up the Ryobi brad nailer on the Black Friday sale at HD. The Ryobi + 2 batteries and a charger is still half the price of the Ridgid. Kinda kills me to then have a whole other battery system in use, but for the price I can barely by a small pancake air compressor and brad nailer.

YMMV but HD has the Ryobi on for $88 CDN for Black Friday (bare tool).

You could cut the center into progressively smaller bowls like Russian nesting dolls style.

Ah didn't realize you did it on the CNC. Very nice! You could cross cut down the middle creating 2 U shapes and cut out the frames on the bandsaw, and could reattach the "U"s with a purple heart "spline" (probably wrong term but ya).

Anyway you look at it it looks awesome and if you go the cup route those'll be sweet too!

What flavor birch? I've never worked with it. We have a ton of white birch that ain't worth throwing in the fire.
