Quick question...is the rear seat bottom cushion supposed to lock in place or just swing forward to access the storage box? It looks like there would be a latching mechanism but mine doesn't latch in place. You just pull the strap and it freely swings forward. Make sense?

Sounds right to me, and matches my experience.

Mine locks you need to pull the strap but it does not freely swing. Maybe something is preventing it from going back fully.

On the double cab, the seat back locks. The seat bottom does not lock.

My bottom cushion is not locked in place, it just "freely" swings forward. The back cushion does hold it in place with a bit of friction.

Ok thanks guys. Just making sure. I thought it a little odd as my tundra back seat actually latched down.
