I bought one of the anti gravity lithium jumpers when they first came out. It works ok, worked much better when it was newer. I had to replace the cables after they melted like everyone else's did. Years later I found out I ended up with a counterfeit.

I contemplated the jump n carry. They're big and heavy but work good. They offer a deal where when the internal batteries peter out you get new batteries for free or very cheap, I forget, its a one time deal. Clore, the maker of the jump n carry line makes several different versions.

I've seen noco around, my industrial battery supplier sells them, people that have them seem to like it. What stopped me from getting one is the intermittent horrible review.

Reservo came out with a battery less jumper that uses a capacitor, I snatched one up. So for kicks, I measured the amperage output on both (fluke amp clamp). The anti gravity put out 75 amps, which is why it only works on a weak battery. Rezervo measured 232 amps, which is pretty much what a starter pulls. It will start almost everything but it needs to be charged prior to using it, less than 2 minutes to fully charge. I haven't tried this feature yet. They claim you can hook it to your dead battery, charge it up with what little is left in the battery, then jump start your car. If I get one drained down dead dead, I can connect both to get it started.

If you look for it, you can find on YouTube guys testing several of the little jumper packs, they never have the amperage output claimed. I've also seen them expanding in the case, getting extremely hot, or worse exploding.

Thank you both for that info. My DCSB has all the plastic removed from the storage area behind the seat. I plan to wrap a large towel around it if I do buy it, to keep it from rocking so much.

I see you keep them in your truck all the time. That’s my plan as well.

NOCO Genius Boost seems like a good and popular one. But I don't know which model of it is best to get, and if it's worth even getting one.
Because while I like how it performs when using it, I've probably used one less than 5 times.

I've had an Antigravity XP-10 Micro-Start Kit for 7+ years, works great, will even start a vehicle with a completely dead battery, some will, some won't, but it's expensive. I charge it only if it needs it, maybe once a year or so. I put it in whatever vehicle I'm driving that day. Don't keep it in a vehicle parked outside, heat/cold will eventually kill any battery. Can be used for other stuff, charging phones, etc.

The NOCO works great. Used it many times already.

I purchased the Boltpower off Amazon, thinking I needed a big one. Nope. Used it twice on friend's vehicle after work, on a 4.0 Taco. Fired right up. Based on Wirecutter reviews, purchased the Weego 22s (smallest one, no phone charger) for my daughter's (Honda 1.8 I4) and wife's (Kia 3.5 V6) vehicles since they have the polarity check. My high school daughter used it to start her civic before school with only a "you can do it" coaching session over the phone. She proceeded to use the pack 2 more times during the day to finish school and get to OReilly to get a new battery. I bring them in a charge them at Christmas and Christmas in July. Twice a year, that's it. Super happy with the Weego.
