At our store they were just a little more. I'm ok though if they turn out to be good.

Well I can see them being lower in fat since they aren't deep fried. Which is what the whole air fryer thing is about.

It sure did. Mine doesn't have a basket, just 3 racks and a glass door. I put the bacon up top, too close to the heat I think. I'll try the bottom next time.
To make matters worse, my wife heard me cussing and said I Told You IT WOULD SPLATTER!!

I still like the bigger one I have with grates over the basket model I had. 10 qts vs 3.7 qts.
Ima cook bacon again, and I shall prevail!! I hope. :fingerscrossed:

This thing cost me $60, the zygote (Bagotte) was $100 and 380°F max

Cuisinart is way way way better. Goes 450°F

I did some chicken tenders. They cooked FAST. Whoa.

I did some waffle cut sweet potatoes, admittedly one of the most difficult fryer items. You can never get them crispy as they just too hard, but less is soggy. The Cuisinart nailed it.

And I did some regular fries. Any airf ryer should do french fries perfectly, this was no exception. Dudes were HOT.

Heck yeah! I went from a 2 quart to a 6 quart.. it's just the basket model but I'm happy with it.
Be careful if you make pizza rolls... They leak too! Haha

Round 2: Bacon on the lowest level, 370f. It splattered too, but only a little bit.
It was crisp and done but.... the flavor seemed off. I'll fry some in CI to check, it might just be the cheap bacon the wife bought.

Forgive the poor photos... This is a fresh ground beef burger. Air fried at 350 for 12 min... Flipped it over halfway though that time.Turned it up to 390 and added 5 more minutes to get it to 140F IT. (Next time I'll start at 360 or 370) Seasoned only with my home made Ranch Seasoning.

    IMG_20191205_172018595.jpg

Put it back in the AF for less than a minute to melt a slice of Provolone Cheese over a couple strips of bacon to finish it off. The bacon was already cooked previously in the AF.

    IMG_20191205_172102021.jpg

Finished off with a little Heinz 57 sauce and more cheese on the bottom!

    looks great!

I enjoy a good air fryer burger. I have a gas grill and a pellet grill but sometimes it’s nice to just throw the patty in the air fryer and let it go, especially on days when the weather is not perfect.
