I showed April @m3bassman's travel thread and besides getting even more excited for Idaho she decided that the truck needs sliders (I love that girl).

So this morning at work I put in another order with @traxman25 over at 4xinnovations. Have to take advantage of that free pick up while we're still living in Wisconsin.

^ He's right. We just REALLY like potatoes. Otherwise it's a terrible place. Nobody should move there.

Good thing most people don't even know where Idaho is. No joke this is the map from our work insurance.

Thanks! Credit goes to April she took almost all the pictures in here. She's much better than me behind a camera.

Finally installed the extended rear brake line from wheelers that I’ve had laying around for too long.

Replaced the valve cover gaskets. I was pretty nervous but it went alright. Just took a long time.

    IMG_2994.jpg

I was really happy with how clean the valvetrain looked.

Decided to take the truck into Norm at Andrew Toyota to take a look at the A/C instead of buying the gauges and whatnot myself. $40 bucks later and a little Norm magic and now we have ice cold A/C. Eska couldn't be happier.

    IMG-3418.jpg

Also April threw some plasti-derp on the hood to cover up the sunburn until we can afford a more permanent solution.

    Before:
    IMG-2993.jpg

    After:
    IMG-3025.jpg

And replaced the rubber fender seals. The ones in the back were pretty much all gone and the front ones were severely cracked. Arizona really did a number on anything rubber on the truck. Although I would take that over rust any day.

    Love this thread!
Spent a couple years w a husky living out of a '93 extended cab in CO back in '99-'01
Now the wife and I have 4 dogs and a '17 taco DCLB but we're in southern NM.
No Instagram for myself, but the wife is subscribing to Eska's!

@321cya That is awesome!!!!!!!! I love hearing from people that were crazy enough to also live out of their truck. New Mexico is such an underrated place we loved our time there. We're kicking around the idea of getting one more dog but I couldn't imagine living with 4 dogs, props to you guys (if they're all huskies you guys are just nuts). You should throw on a picture of all your dogs in that truck!

Well we've been really busy. I rebuilt the Camburg UCA's, installed an air compressor, did the roll pin mod (tack-weld mod for people that cant weld), installed new front pads (Akebono) and rotors (Brembo), a new Northstar battery, and did a terrible job at taking pictures.

We also got 2 dirtbikes and, O yeah moved across the country to this beautiful place.

Experienced our first Idaho singletrack. Eska came along and did amazing running with us.

Also aired down for the first time (wow we've been missing out) and got to put this guy to use.

Thanks @8TaCo8! She has been so happy since we got to Idaho. We're starting to get into backcountry snowboarding with her now which has been great. The taco has been getting us to some really cool places.

Battery hold-down that fits the AGM battery perfectly.

Swapped out the SAW’s. Went from this

    To these bad boys.

I got a great deal from headstrong and they came with the mcm mounts which I was very happy about. My only complaint is the hoses are too short to properly mount them but I’ll just get longer hoses at rebuild time. They ride absolutely amazing though off-road.

    Also got some durobumps.
