It'll be 3 months on the 21st that I've owned this truck..Still look back at it everytime I walk away..just hit 4,200 miles today from the 278 that was on it at purchase.

Absolutely not ONE regret. This is my dream truck since I was in middle school..I'm incredibly blessed to say I own this sexy ass panty dropper. I get questions and compliments all the time, and I'll still be in love with it well past 200k miles(which I know it will last that long). It's already given me countless new journeys..here's to many more

Despite what some might think I love my Tacoma, I have been looking forward to getting a Tacoma since 2005 when my dad got the new 2nd Gen (he has had Tacoma's every since replacing his F150). I just had some very specific things I required in my trucks so when they launched the 2020 and included those requirements I traded my 2018 F150 Lariat to the new 2020 Tacoma OR Prem with tech in Voodoo blue!!

I... not sure what a Tacoma shin is.. but I think it has to do with hitting your shins on something... I do not have that issue. I do not have any noticeable whine from the rear and love how the exhaust sounds over my 2.7L Twin Turbo F150. I have some plans I want to do with it, all down the road slowly though.

For now this is how she looks:

Lol - I spent three hours at my new local Toyota dealer while they worked on the wife's Lexus (charged 1/2 of what the Lexus dealer wanted for an oil change and wheel alignment), I got bored and started looking at trucks. They came down 6K off of off the sticker of the TRD-OR and offered my 10K over the payoff on the 2017 2WD 2WD SR5... Considering that I play with teeny-tiny 4WD trucks it was a matter of time before I bought the real thing...

Lol - My wife drives a Lexus NX300... She whines when she drives the Tacoma... I just tell her if it looks like a truck and it drives like a truck; you can assume that you're driving a truck. Price-wise they where the same but they are two totally different animals that serve their purposes well. She prefers her car and I prefer my truck... I will admit that I probably will only own Lexus cars going forward just as I will stick to the Toyota trucks going forward.

Is that a German Shepherd? We've dealt with SCH GSDs for many many years (current one is in my profile pic)...I tell folks GSDs have one shedding season - DAILY....but well worth it!!!!!!

I must have missed the "taco shin" - not sure what that is either! I assume it is hitting your shins getting in and out...I see no difference in getting in and out of this as I do my other vehicles I currently have or have had (other than the sports cars I've had).

100% agree 3gens are a great truck ... 3500 miles & 5 months and I haven’t experienced any of the negatives that some associate with these trucks
