    Update : 2-25-2019 8200 miles.
PCS unavailable light back on. It would come on after hitting 45 mph and come and go intermittently and would turn back off after slowing to 35mph. Drove 2 weeks like this due to heavy rains thinking all would be fine when dry weather came back. Unfortunately it didn't. Took to dealership they tried a recalibration first to no avail. Then replaced radar sensor and the actual Toyota emblem garnish. Said it was distorting the radar signal. 300 miles now and no light. This is the 2nd sensor on this truck first time was around 4000 mile failure. I hope they redesign the sensor to keep water out or this will become an ongoing problem. Hope this helps.

Did they told you wish fuse? Engine bay or interior? Just in case some member goes thru the same thing we can look at those factors as well.

Anyone have an issue where the PCS disabled light comes on, but the system is actually on?

It's happened about 4 times now (all under different weather conditions. Sunny, dark, rainy, dark and snowy). The light will come on, but if I go into the settings, the system is still on, and if I turn the truck off and start it again, the disabled light goes away.

Dealership couldn't find anything wrong with it, though they did mention to keep the sensor (emblem and I would assume camera by the windshield) clean.

That's what mine was doing. They fixed by changing radar and garnish emblem

Twice now i have had all of the safety features malfunction at once. It happened each time while the cruise control was active. There were no vehicles in front of me either time and it was clear weather. All the systems showed malfunction ert contact dealer. Once i turned the truck off and then restarted the system was fine. Took it to the dealer, they said there were no error codes recorded. Showed pictures i took of the alerts. I was told to read the owner's manual that there are conditions that may cause the cruise control and other features to turn off. This is bs. There was no weather, road, or other item impacting the camera view or the emblem sensor. No bugs, etc. It happened in the first 1000 miles and again around 2000 miles on the truck.

Ironic that the pre collision warning messages are so distracting and persistent, that it causes you to keep looking down, increasing risk of collision...solid planning Toyota

I have a 2019 with 7000 miles.... I swapped my grill to the trd pro grill 6 months ago and never had an issue. I took it in for the recall anyways to be sealed or whatever 5 months ago and of course the dealer pulled the normal bullshit that I had a trd pro grill and a lift installed by them, and they applied repair “b”. Truck still worked fine till now. The light is now permanently on and it says to clean the sensor. It has done this before but only when the windshield is iced over (winter now) and after it is defrosted it wasn’t an issue. I’m guessing the sensor went bad and will probably have to fight the dealer

What is the 'fix' exactly? Some kind of plastic covering on the back side of the sensor, right?

I have yet to see one except for the lane keep assist, which happens frequently. Pedestrian alert and pre-collision are absent. Codes are all good on the sensor, too.

I’d the same issue, precollision malfunction, air bag warning, stability control warning, seat belt warning, no radio, no alarm, i just take my car to the dealership and the problem was on the main fuse box, they just replace a fuse and everything works fineC78B2374-01C9-40D0-8971-78F59C44E914.jpg

I just replaced my oem bumper with an aftermarket add bumper and my collision system is giving me the same thing as well as my lane departure any thoughts. I'm thinking they gutted the sensors during the install.

you think this is something that would just get rid of the pcs malfunction? I don’t have any other light on except that

I had the pcs malfunction as well and the vx4000 scanner cleared it.

Oh sweet. I’ll definitely try it out then. I’ve tried a coulomb OBD2 scanners and it wouldn’t want to clear. Hopefully this one will fix the problem.
